A well-established, industry-leading Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) company is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a key role in expanding and elevating its talent acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate will go beyond traditional recruiting methods, taking a proactive and strategic approach to identifying, engaging, and attracting top-tier talent across the industry. This individual will be instrumental in expanding the firm’s recruiting reach, developing strong networks of prospective candidates, and cultivating long-term relationships with professionals who may become future hires. The role will also contribute to enhancing the firm’s employer brand through professional networking, industry outreach, college recruiting, and social media engagement. Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000 annually. This salary range reflects the varying levels of experience and qualifications the company is willing to consider. Candidates with less experience should anticipate compensation toward the lower end of the range, while salaries at the higher end will be reserved for candidates with extensive, directly relevant experience and exceptional qualifications. The position also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other standard benefits.

Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

• A key priority will be continuously raising the bar on talent acquisition by introducing innovative sourcing strategies, strengthening candidate pipelines, and helping the organization attract outstanding professionals in a competitive market
• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, from job postings and candidate sourcing through initial screening, interview coordination, and candidate selection.
• Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates for field operations and support teams while developing talent pipelines for key positions.
• Conduct preliminary candidate screenings and coordinate interviews for out-of-state markets.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective candidates to support ongoing recruiting needs and long-term talent acquisition efforts.
• Partner with the HR Generalist to maintain accurate applicant tracking system records, update candidate information, and prepare recruiting reports.
• Assist with college recruiting initiatives, employee referral programs, and recruiting events to expand candidate outreach and strengthen talent pipelines.
• Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting processes, enhance the candidate experience, and strengthen the company’s employer brand through professional organization outreach and social media engagement.

Qualifications of the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

• 2 -10 years of recruiting experience within an architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) agency and/or a corporate recruiting environment.
• Experience managing recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, initial screenings, interview coordination, and candidate pipeline development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with candidates, colleagues, and external partners.
• Proactive and resourceful approach to sourcing talent, identifying process improvements, and supporting recruiting initiatives.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruiting reports, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Interest in employer branding, professional networking, college recruiting, and social media outreach to support talent acquisition efforts.
