Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin's Applied Research Laboratories (ARL) HR Operations team on the Pickle Research Campus seeks a Recruiting/Sourcing Outreach and Candidate Experience Specialist to enhance student, support and early career hiring.

You will work with hiring managers, manage Workday postings, and support university-wide recruitment events to improve the candidate experience and drive qualified applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Five years of related experience including direct sourcing experience.
• Strong communication skills including being able to summarize all important points in a clear manner in all correspondence and dialogue to convey the proper message to stakeholders.
• Ability to track, monitor and summarize information accurately and in a manner that provides clear information for stakeholders and decision makers.
• Evidence of meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to transition effectively between key responsibility areas.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide multiple options for problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers and other appropriate recruiting staff to determine criteria for sourcing that will result in a group of highly qualified prospects for available positions.
• Review and draft job requisitions in Workday for assigned position types.
• Routinely travel for recruiting events and coordinate/research career fairs.
• Research market trends and developments in talent acquisition and sourcing platforms; present comparisons and recommend products for ROI.
• Develop and maintain recruiting support from research labs and other ARL/HRO staff; ensure postings are current and updated.
• Other related functions as assigned.
