Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support the GPP Project in Gregory, TX. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish and handle full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing to hiring, while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities include screening, coordinating site interviews with hiring managers, managing requisitions, and ensuring compliance with background checks, drug screens, I-9 and E-Verify.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related sourcing/recruiting administrative experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent
• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
• Bilingual (Read, Write and Speak) in English and Spanish emphasized

Responsibilities

• Sources, screens, and conducts preliminary interviews.
• Coordinates site interviews with hiring managers for project-specific needs.
• Manages and finalizes employment requisitions and approvals.
• Tracks staffing data using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
• Updates job descriptions based on project scope and requirements.
• Handles background checks, drug screens, health screens, I-9 and E-Verify.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws and company policies.

Job Description Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support the GPP Project in Gregory, TX. For full-cycle recruiting efforts for a growing workforce. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess strong sourcing, recruiting, and relationship-building skills. This role is responsible for attracting, screening, and hiring qualified candidates while providing an exceptional candidate experience and supporting organizational staffing objectives.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

• Sources, screens, and performs preliminary interviews on potential candidates.
• Coordinates site interviews with appropriate hiring manager to select qualified candidates for project specific requirements and make contingent employment offers based on federal/state law.
• Manages assigned employment requisitions to include but not limited to reviewing, editing, and final approval of completed requisition.
• Tracks and reports data on staffing plan processes using computer software programs that may include MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other software databases.
• Builds and updates job descriptions based on project and scope of work
• Coordinates and conducts re-deployment initiatives (proactive communication with employees prior to anticipated end date)
• Conducts operational and administrative portions of the hire process (background checks, drug screen, health screen, I9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, employment paperwork, site specific requirements)
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Experience:

• Technical skill with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn Tracking Management System.
• Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team building skills
• High level of customer service.
• Knowledge of employment laws/compliance.
• Attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related sourcing/recruiting administrative experience.
• Level II Specialist should have 2 years of recruiting experience.
• Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP
• Experience in: Administration, Customer Service, Human Resources, Industrial Construction and/or Nuclear Industries
• Billingual (Read, Write and Speak)

Physical Requirements:

• Work will be in a general office environment with occasional work in an industrial location.
• Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
• May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
