We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join a collaborative Human Resources team supporting a large organization in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiting professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying great talent, and partnering directly with hiring managers to meet evolving workforce needs.
In this role, you will manage multiple recruitment activities from sourcing and candidate screening through hiring-manager partnership and candidate referral. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable managing competing priorities, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers a hybrid schedule with four remote days per week and one onsite day each Thursday in downtown Atlanta.
Partner with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and define position requirements.
Manage recruitment activities for multiple positions and business areas.
Develop and post job announcements across job boards, social media, professional networks, recruitment resources, and other sourcing channels.
Proactively source and engage qualified candidates for current and anticipated openings.
Review applications, conduct candidate screenings, and refer qualified candidates to hiring managers within established timelines.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Maintain regular communication with hiring managers regarding recruiting progress, candidate activity, and hiring outcomes.
Provide guidance on recruiting best practices and workforce planning initiatives.
Track assigned requisitions and provide regular status and activity reports.
Analyze recruitment activity, metrics, and trends to identify opportunities to improve hiring effectiveness and efficiency.
Help ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, policies, procedures, and established best practices.
Respond to routine HR inquiries and provide professional, timely customer support.
Develop relationships with colleges, universities, professional organizations, and public and private sector partners to expand recruiting pipelines.
Maintain recruiting resources, including standardized interview questions and related documentation.
2+ years of relevant Human Resources experience, with hands-on recruiting experience strongly preferred.
Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, candidate referral, and hiring-manager communication.
Demonstrated ability to proactively source candidates and develop talent pipelines.
Experience managing multiple requisitions, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent relationship-building and customer-service abilities.
Working knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment laws, and general HR practices.
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and accountability.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Candidates with one or more of the following are especially encouraged to apply:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
Experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment across multiple departments or business units.
Public-sector or government HR/recruiting experience.
Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS or Team Georgia Careers.
Knowledge of State Personnel Board Rules.
Experience analyzing recruitment metrics and preparing requisition or recruiting activity reports.
Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
