Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter in New Jersey to manage a fast-paced candidate flow. You will screen, move, and disposition a large pool of active and passive candidates, while maintaining data integrity across our ATS and sharing updates with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with leadership to meet hiring goals, execute tailored sourcing strategies, and deliver a positive candidate experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Screen, move, and disposition a mixed active/passive candidate pipeline (approx. 80/20).
• Maintain data integrity in ATS and provide data-centric updates to stakeholders.
• Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs and execute a custom hiring strategy.
• Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the process.

The recruiter has a basic knowledge of the business, policies and technology of Paycom and specializes in matching the right person for the right position within the company. The recruiter is goal driven and has a sales and service mentality.This position has a salary of $90,000 per annum. Paycom provides employees health insurance at an employee cost of $1 per-pay-period, a 401(k) plan with company match, available flexible spending accounts, $50,000 basic life and AD&D, paid vacation, holidays and sick leave, employee stock purchase plan, paid family leave, and many other available benefits.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for following the defined processes around screening, movement and dispositioning of an approximately 80/20 active vs. passive applicant pipelineMaintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality with candidates throughout the hiring process and afterwardsCommunicating effectively with all individuals in the hiring process as instructed by the Team Lead and at times supporting the senior level recruitersRegularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity while proactively sharing data-centric updates with internal stakeholdersDaily using internal ATS, job boards and tools to find active candidates available in the market place, tool examples include LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, etc.…Following the end-to-end recruitment process for hiring across assigned Paycom departments, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experienceUnder the direction of leadership partner with recruiting leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and goals, and to execute a custom hiring strategyHelping the recruiting team meet and exceed goals while building additional sourcing and recruiting skills and tactics to identify talent with the support of leadershipEducation/Certification:Bachelor’s degreeExperience:Screening, recruiting, or talent acquisition experience or proof of leadership/ management experience or working in a metrics-driven environment.Must be able to handle high-volume, fast-pace, and a collaborative environment under direct supervisionSkills/Abilities:Proficient in Microsoft officeAbility to handle high-volume, fast-pace, and a collaborative environment under direct supervisionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience:Global recruitment and requisition managementSkills/Abilities:Confidence in dealing with people both face-to-face and over the phoneExceptional verbal and written communication abilityTime managementAbility to effectively use persuasive communication skillsPaycom is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
