Southland Industries is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for a remote, long-term contract focused on Construction Accounting/Finance recruiting. You will partner with leadership to forecast needs, source candidates across channels, screen and schedule, and ensure a strong candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience as a recruiter within the construction industry required.
• Ability to talk the same language and partner with hiring managers.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and techniques including passive recruiting, Boolean searching, and cold calling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who identifies improvements and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Familiarity with Workday preferred.

Position Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Southland Industries, you will play a vital role in our company's growth by identifying, sourcing, and engaging top talent to join our team. You will collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will possess construction recruiting experience, excellent communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a passion for connecting talented individuals with exciting career opportunities. This is a remote role covering full-cycle recruiting for an assigned business unit, division, or specialty, with expectations to flex to other recruiting needs across the business as assigned. This role will be a long term contract opportunity, primarily be focused on recruiting for Construction Accounting/Finance professionals.

Position Details

• Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leadership to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, passive search, internal talent communities, and employee referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
• Work with TA Coordinators, Hiring Managers, and Candidates for interview scheduling.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (Workday).
• Live the ‘People-First’ Southland brand by delivering a world-class candidate experience — communicating proactively throughout the recruitment process and providing timely updates and feedback.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to understand the current state of the business and forecasted talent needs, helping develop and deploy strategic recruiting plans.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruiting to continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience as a recruiter within the construction industry required.
• Ability to “talk the same language” and partner with hiring managers to understand needs, using that insight to effectively sell opportunities to candidates.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and techniques, including passive recruiting, Boolean searching, and cold calling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who takes initiative to identify improvements — we're always looking for ways to be better, faster, stronger.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred) and candidate sourcing platforms.

Pay: This consolidated salary range reflects the anticipated pay range across the U.S. geographic locations where this position may be based. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s primary work location, experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.

Salary Range: $93,000.00 - $129,000.00 annually.
