Job description

We are a fast-paced business with ambitious growth plans; so if you are dedicated, enthusiastic and always seeking ways to improve, you'll enjoy a career with us!

Talent Acquisition Partner – Weston, Florida, USA – Permanent
About Ontic

Weston is Ontic's newest site and an important part of the next stage of our growth in the US. Acquired in 2026, the 100,000 sq ft facility will become a dedicated Original Equipment production site, complementing our MRO Center of Excellence in nearby Miramar. Together, our two South Florida locations give Ontic the space and capability to continue expanding as customer demand grows. Joining Weston at this stage means more than joining a new facility. You'll have the opportunity to help build it - shaping teams, ways of working and culture as we prepare the site for operations in 2027. If you're energised by growth, change and the chance to create something from the ground up, this is a rare opportunity to do exactly that.

The opportunity

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to become a trusted recruitment partner to our new Weston site, helping us build the teams and talent pipelines we need as the facility grows. This is a genuinely hands-on opportunity, you'll be joining at the very beginning and playing an important role in building the operation from the ground up. There will be plenty to get stuck into, and not everything that needs doing will necessarily sit neatly within a traditional Talent Acquisition remit. We're looking for someone who is flexible, uses their own initiative and is happy to roll their sleeves up and get things done. You'll be part of our wider global Talent Acquisition team and will have support around you, but you'll also have significant autonomy. With your main team contacts based in other locations and time zones, you'll need to be comfortable making decisions, solving problems and keeping things moving without waiting for someone else to tell you what to do. In return, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the recruitment approach, talent pipelines and culture of a brand-new Ontic site as it grows.

What you'll be doing
  • Partner with hiring managers and People colleagues to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities and the operational context behind each requirement.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment activity, from intake and sourcing strategy through screening, assessment, offer negotiation and onboarding handover.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for immediate, recurring and future hiring needs using direct sourcing, specialist channels, networks and local market knowledge.
  • Provide hiring managers with recruitment and market insight, identifying risks, opportunities and practical solutions that support effective hiring decisions.
  • Maintain clear visibility of recruitment activity, hiring trends and potential roadblocks, keeping stakeholders informed and recommending action where needed.
  • Strengthen Ontic's visibility as an employer through appropriate local initiatives, events and engagement within key talent markets.
  • Represent Talent Acquisition in relevant site and leadership discussions, while collaborating with the wider TA team to share insight, improve processes and maintain consistent recruitment standards.
What you'll bring
  • Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, with the organisation and judgement to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder partnership and influencing skills, with the confidence to build credibility, provide recruitment expertise and constructively challenge where needed.
  • Hands‑on sourcing capability and experience developing qualified talent pipelines rather than relying solely on inbound applications.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, including Workday, and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • The ability to understand operational hiring needs and translate them into effective recruitment strategies and activity.
  • Knowledge of fair and inclusive hiring practices, together with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Advantageous
  • Experience recruiting within aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or another technical environment, and/or supporting significant organisational growth or a new‑site build.
