Job summary

FirstService Residential in Miami is seeking a Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition Partner to identify, screen, and assess candidates across multiple business units. The role also handles Talent Acquisition Coordinator duties, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and I-9 verification and new hire orientation support.

You will build pipelines, collaborate with hiring leaders, and manage requisitions using HRIS and Recruiting Manager ATS tools, ensuring compliance and timely updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field from an accredited college or university (preferred), plus at least 2–4 years of recruiting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using conventional, internet, and alternative sourcing techniques, including cold calling, proactive database searches, and referral generation through web mining.
  • Proven ability to develop a passive candidate pipeline.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interviewing and assessment skills. Detail-oriented with strong organization and multi-tasking capability.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High proficiency researching the Internet.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with self-driven initiative.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and sound judgment and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with Hiring Managers to understand current and future talent needs, including networking and ongoing communication with internal hiring managers, external vendors, and candidates.
  • Meet with internal hiring managers to discuss upcoming company needs and develop recruitment plans.
  • Use creative, cost-aware sourcing strategies to identify high-quality candidates, leveraging technology, external job boards, career fairs, college fairs, and social media.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to meet service level agreements and exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate and execute recruiting strategies end-to-end: source and screen candidates, review resumes, schedule and conduct interviews, present candidates to hiring managers, and make recommendations.
  • Review applicant pools tied to requisitions and identify candidates qualified for phone screening.
  • Manage requisitions, maintain candidate databases, and provide status reports in Applicant Tracking System – Recruiting Manager.
  • Support background checks, generate and extend offers, and complete required system data entry for new hires.
  • Assist with opening and maintaining job requisitions via HRIS software.
  • Process background verifications and drug screenings.
  • Enter and maintain new hire information in HRIS and assist with scheduling and supporting new hire orientation.
  • Create and maintain employee personnel files in line with company policies and government regulations.
  • Maintain and update I-9 verifications and driving records as required.

Job description

Schedule and location
  • Location: Miami, FL (hybrid)
  • Work pattern: Based in the Regional Miami office four days a week and one day remotely
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Travel: Occasional travel to communities; occasional travel may also be required to attend training and other company functions
