Talent Acquisition Partner

Full Time Professional Indianola, IA, US

Are You a Recruiter Who Knows How to Hunt?

Cemen Tech Inc. — the world leader in volumetric concrete technologyislooking for a Recruitment Business Partner who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, pick up the phone, build relationships, and go find great people.

  • Employee Ownership (ESOP) – As an employee-owner, you share in the company’s success while building long-term financial security and retirement value for you and your family.
  • 100% Paid Health Insurance – Keep more of your paycheck with company-paid premiums.
  • Great Benefits & Perks – Paid time off, parental leave, 401(k), bonuses, and more.
  • Strong Team Culture – Work in a supportive, innovative, and team-focused environment.
  • Employee Appreciation – Enjoy company events, holiday meals, service awards and local sporting event tickets.

This is not a "post the job and wait for applicants" recruiting position. We are looking for a hunter—someone who is energized by hard-to-fill positions, enjoys finding candidates who aren't actively looking, and takes ownership of building a strong talent pipeline.

You will partner directly with hiring managers and company leadership to understand our workforce needs, develop creative sourcing strategies, and identify the people who can help Cemen Tech continue to grow.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing needs.
  • Develop and execute aggressive, creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Proactively hunt for candidates through LinkedIn, social media, job boards, resume databases, networking, referrals, industry contacts, and other creative sources.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified active and passive candidates.
  • Make outbound calls, send direct messages, network, and develop relationships with potential candidates.
  • Represent Cemen Tech at career fairs, recruiting events, schools, trade organizations, and community events.
  • Develop recruiting campaigns and determine the best mix of job boards, social media, advertising, and direct sourcing.
  • Review and improve job descriptions to attract the right candidates.
  • Conduct candidate screening and interviews and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing, candidate evaluation, and selection.
  • Manage candidates through the full recruiting process and provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, time-to-hire, source effectiveness, applicant flow, and retention.
  • Monitor recruiting activity and help manage the recruiting budget.
  • Oversee onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Develop and distribute candidate experience surveys.
  • Assist with succession planning, internal promotion initiatives, retention efforts, and other HR projects.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A Hunter – You don't wait for candidates to come to you. You find them.
  • Persistent – You understand that recruiting sometimes takes multiple calls, messages, conversations, and follow-ups.
  • Competitive – You want to fill positions quickly with the right people and take pride in your results.
  • Resourceful – When one sourcing strategy doesn't work, you find another.
  • Relationship-driven – You know recruiting is about building relationships, not just filling requisitions.
  • Confident – You're comfortable talking with candidates, hiring managers, executives, and people throughout the organization.
  • Results-oriented – You measure your success and take ownership of your recruiting pipeline.
  • Self-motivated – You can work independently while being an effective member of the HR team.
  • Professional and energetic – You represent Cemen Tech to candidates and the community every day.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or a similar role.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting.
  • Demonstrated experience with proactive candidate sourcing and passive candidate recruitment.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, resume databases, LinkedIn, social media, and other recruiting technology.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels of leadership.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.

How We Measure Success

The successful candidate will be expected to build a strong recruiting pipeline and deliver results. Success will be measured through metrics such as:
