Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a remote team of recruiters, ensuring they meet hiring goals and maintain high standards of candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Drive a high-performance culture within the talent acquisition team, using data and metrics to measure progress.
  • Support future acquisition growth by teaching, training, and mentoring new sites in PCB systems and ways of working.
  • Understand workforce plan and allocate work appropriately in partnership with leaders (fostering collaboration, urgency, etc.)
  • Recruitment and Requisition Management:
    • Own and manage a portfolio of requisitions, actively sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for salaried roles within our manufacturing plants.
    • Develop and implement a variety of effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the manufacturing sector including advertising initiatives, university and technical school relationships, and community partners.
    • Leverage innovative sourcing strategies and out-of-the box ideas to identify and attract top talent.
    • Partner with local HR and Manufacturing leadership to develop sustainable workforce pipelines in rural markets.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Utilize data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize recruitment strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Partner with hiring managers, Manufacturing leaders, and Plant HR to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for talent acquisition initiatives.
    • Proactively identify potential issues and intervene early to lead to the desired outcome.
  • Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and manufacturing recruitment.

    Opportunities: The Talent Acquisition Manager will be managing a high volume of requisitions, balancing strategic and operational responsibilities, and navigating the complexities of manufacturing recruitment. They will need to address inefficiencies in the current processes and foster collaboration across different teams and departments.

    Work Environment: The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead a team of remote recruiters, working closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners. The company culture is collaborative, inclusive, and driven by a commitment to excellence. The role will involve using tools such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), data analytics platforms, and various recruitment technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This role is located in Lakeville, MN, and this individual will work a hybrid schedule (Tuesday-Thursday).


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
    • 3+ years of experience recruiting plant-based salaried roles is essential, including experience recruiting engineers, manufacturing leaders, and maintenance leaders.
    • Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition process excellence, with a strong emphasis on success metrics and accountability measures.
    • Strong skills in data analytics and reporting.
    • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools as well as staying on trend with new systems to create efficiency.
