Alliance College-Ready Public Schools in Los Angeles is seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead recruitment for a portfolio of schools and Home Office teams. You will partner with school leaders to design inclusive hiring plans, use Workday for postings and candidate tracking, and drive data-informed staffing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years of professional work experience in Human Resources, Talent or related field in a school district, educational non-profit or other K-12 urban setting.
• Ability to embed an equity and inclusion lens into recruitment, selection and hiring practices.
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS for recruitment and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing for a portfolio of schools and Home Office teams with staffing needs.
• Partner with school leaders on staffing plans and inclusive interview practices.
• Review applications, conduct screenings, and coordinate with hiring teams to identify top candidates.
• Track vacancy data, ensure timely hires with diverse, high-quality candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding and new-hire processing from offer to start date.
• Develop data-informed recruitment plans and participate in internal/external recruitment events.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or higher

High school diploma with 5+ years of HR/talent experience (in K-12)
