Job summary

United Way of Dallas is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to advance the Pathways to Work initiative by connecting skilled jobseekers with employer partners and living wage opportunities in Dallas.

You will source, screen, and refer candidates, build talent pipelines, coordinate interviews, and collaborate with the Employer Partnership Manager and community partners to remove hiring barriers and track outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years in talent acquisition or similar role.
• Proficiency with online sourcing platforms and professional networks.
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to execute key performance indicators.
• Experience coordinating with clients and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines for potential applicants.
• Source applicants through online channels such as LinkedIn and networks.
• Review resumes, conduct initial screens, and verify qualifications.
• Build relationships with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and criteria.
• Coordinate interviews and gather employer feedback to support decisions.
• Track candidate activity and progress using internal systems and reports.
• Collaborate with community-based organizations and workforce partners.
• Coordinate virtual and in-person job fairs and outreach activities.
