Job summary

BWG is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment across infrastructure, public affairs, and public relations functions in California. You will source, screen, interview, and close hires, building talent pipelines and partnering with HR on onboarding.

You will use LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS to track metrics, advise hiring managers, and craft compelling job descriptions that reflect BWG's values and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years' recruitment experience within infrastructure, public affairs, public relations or related industry.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR certification or HR/business degree preferred.
  • Exceptional organization in fast-paced environments.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment for all open roles across BWG, including sourcing, resume screening, telephone screens, interviews, reference checks, and job offers
  • Identify recruitment strategies and sourcing channels to build candidate pipelines for public affairs, public relations, and public outreach roles
  • Establish and maintain an industry presence through professional online and social media presence, networking, and industry events
  • Advise hiring managers using interviewing and assessment techniques to validate candidate skills and knowledge
  • Provide hiring managers with updates on the job market, candidate availability, sourcing methods, recruitment risks, and regional challenges
  • Collaborate with the Resource Manager to forecast recruitment needs based on upcoming project work
  • Develop job descriptions and job postings that attract talent and accurately communicate BWG benefits and opportunities
  • Guide candidates and hiring managers through the recruitment process and partner with Human Resources on onboarding transitions
  • Identify process-improvement opportunities
  • Use recruitment data and metrics to analyze trends and inform recruitment strategies
  • Create and execute sourcing plans for each open position
  • Promote BWG's workplace values, culture, career paths, opportunities, and benefits
  • Maintain candidate data and statuses in the HRIS
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter and industry-specific job boards
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Build brand awareness, industry contacts, and strategic external partnerships
  • Engage with vertical leads, CCO, CGO, and other leaders to review hiring needs and support recruiting activities
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements
  • 8+ years' recruitment experience within infrastructure, public affairs, public relations or related industry experience
  • Human Resources certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR), or education in Human Resources or business-related area is preferred
  • Exceptional organization with proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborative and proactive self-starter and problem solver
  • Experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience working hard to fill roles and high-volume sourcing
  • Able to operate independently to create recruitment sourcing pipelines and build a talent community
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Mix of both agency and in-house experience is an asset
