Power Up Your Career with Rogers Electric
Who We Are
At Rogers Electric, we’re more than one of the nation’s largest self-performing electrical, data, and lighting contractors — we’re a team of problem-solvers, industry professionals, and people who take pride in getting the job done right.
With more than 40 years of experience, 1,500+ employees, and operations nationwide, Rogers supports projects ranging from ground-up electrical construction and large-scale commercial and industrial projects to national rollouts, service, and preventative maintenance.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join our Atlanta-area team and help us identify, attract, and hire the skilled talent behind our continued success.
The Opportunity
The Talent Acquisition Lead will play a key role in supporting Rogers Electric’s continued growth by leading full-cycle recruiting efforts with a strong emphasis on electrical construction and skilled field talent.
This is a hands‑on recruiting role for someone who understands the construction environment, knows how to connect with skilled trades professionals, and can build strong partnerships with Operations and Field Leadership.
You’ll be responsible for developing talent pipelines, identifying qualified candidates, supporting workforce planning, and helping ensure our projects have the people needed to succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for electrical construction and skilled‑trades positions, with a primary focus on field talent ranging from apprentices and electricians to lead electricians and foremen
- Partner directly with Operations, Project Leadership, and Field Leadership to understand current and upcoming workforce needs
- Develop proactive recruiting strategies and talent pipelines based on project schedules, manpower forecasts, and business growth
- Source and engage candidates through job boards, direct sourcing, trade networks, employee referrals, social media, trade schools, workforce development programs, and community outreach
- Conduct phone, virtual, and in‑person interviews to evaluate experience, technical qualifications, jobsite readiness, and overall fit
- Build relationships with passive candidates and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and future hiring needs
- Clearly communicate project expectations, schedules, travel requirements, jobsite conditions, compensation, and career opportunities
- Maintain accurate candidate activity, recruiting documentation, and hiring data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Partner with HR and Operations to provide a strong candidate experience from initial contact through offer, onboarding, and transition into the field
- Track recruiting activity, market conditions, hiring challenges, and workforce trends to continuously improve recruiting strategies
- Represent Rogers Electric at career fairs, trade schools, industry events, workforce development programs, and community recruiting initiatives
- Serve as a trusted Talent Acquisition partner to Operations and Field Leadership while maintaining urgency and accountability around hiring needs
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, workforce development, or related experience
- Experience recruiting within construction, electrical, MEP, skilled trades, industrial, manufacturing, or a similar field‑based environment
- Strong understanding of skilled‑trades recruiting and the ability to effectively communicate with field professionals
- Demonstrated ability to source and recruit passive candidates rather than relying solely on applicants
- Experience managing multiple requisitions and hiring priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong interviewing, candidate engagement, relationship‑building, and closing skills
- Ability to build credibility and strong working relationships with Operations and Field Leadership
- Excellent communication, organization, follow‑through, and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office, job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned hiring needs and recruiting initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous recruiting experience with an electrical contractor, MEP contractor, general contractor, specialty contractor, or skilled‑trades organization
- Strong understanding of electrical construction positions, including apprentices, electricians, lead electricians, foremen, and field leadership
- Experience supporting both high‑volume field hiring and specialized construction recruiting
- Experience recruiting for commercial, industrial, large‑scale construction, distribution, or mission‑critical environments
- Established relationships within construction, electrical, trade school, apprenticeship, or workforce development communities
- Experience partnering directly with project executives, project managers, superintendents, and operational leadership
- Familiarity with recruiting metrics, workforce forecasting, and pipeline reporting
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role goes beyond filling open positions. You’ll be expected to build sustainable talent pipelines, develop strong partnerships with Operations, understand the workforce needs of the business, and consistently deliver qualified candidates who can contribute to Rogers Electric’s continued growth.
