Remote work with potential hybrid opportunities in select Midwestern locations, a 12-week program designed to build Thrivent’s entry-level talent pipeline for the organization’s future growth.

Qualifications

• Current college student or recent graduate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR operations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• MS Office proficiency; familiarity with Workday or CRM tools is a plus.
• Maintains confidentiality and strong stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Open to a flexible, hybrid work environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of diverse candidates and tracking their progress through the selection process.
• Participate in candidate outreach and communication, including scheduling and follow-ups.
• Support Career Overview meetings and learn how to present opportunities to prospective candidates.
• Help coordinate logistics for recruiting events such as career fairs and job boards.
• Learn to use systems like Workday and CRM tools to manage candidate data and reporting.
• Collaborate with recruiting specialists and leaders to identify process improvements.
• Shadow and support the implementation of the Recruiting Playbook and selection best practices.
