Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations in a hybrid SF Bay Area setting. You will be the primary contact for new hires post-offer, manage pre-employment paperwork, Day 1 onboarding, and I-9 documentation, while partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to keep processes running smoothly.

The role requires 2+ years in HR or office admin, bilingual English/Spanish or English/Chinese, and experience with ATS/HRIS.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of Human Resources and/or office administration experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish OR English/Chinese – verbal and written.
  • Experience working with an ATS and HRIS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills.
  • Strong customer-service mindset when working with candidates and internal teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential HR information professionally.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR leadership.
  • Ability to occasionally travel locally within the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires after offer acceptance through their first day.
  • Coordinate pre-employment paperwork, onboarding requirements, and New Hire Orientation (NHO).
  • Support Day 1 onboarding activities, including Form I-9 documentation.
  • Manage job requisitions from opening through closure and ensure approvals are completed accurately.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers regarding job postings, interviews, candidate status, and hiring progress.
  • Process offer authorization requests and assist with compensation research.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Enter and maintain employee information within the HRIS.
  • Ensure candidate applications are properly dispositioned and filled requisitions are closed promptly.
  • Assist with hiring manager and interview panel training.
  • Review recruiting vendor invoices and maintain recruiting expense trackers.
  • Help coordinate community recruiting events and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.
  • Maintain recruiting policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in special HR projects as needed.

Job description

Pay: $27.00–$30.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: Full-Time | 40 hours/week
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
