Job summary

Precision Castparts invites a current student to join our Talent Acquisition team in Houston as a Co-Op. You will support full-cycle recruitment, source candidates via LinkedIn and job boards, review applications, coordinate interviews, and help build talent pipelines.

You will gain hands-on experience in employer branding, recruiting analytics, and campus relations, while receiving mentorship from experienced recruiters and working on meaningful projects that contribute to our hiring goals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist recruiters with full-cycle recruitment activities for hourly, salaried, internship, and professional positions.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, university partnerships, employee referrals, and other channels.
• Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
• Coordinate candidate interviews and maintain communication throughout the hiring process.
• Support candidate tracking and reporting within the ATS.
• Participate in candidate phone screens and preliminary assessments.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Post job advertisements on internal and external platforms.
• Support campus recruiting initiatives, career fairs, and university relations.
• Assist recruiters with scheduling, offers, and pre-employment activities.
• Create recruiting metrics reports and analyze talent acquisition data.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns.
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate information and recruiting records.
