Roskam Foods, founded in 1923 and headquartered near Grand Rapids, is seeking an HR onboarding coordinator to join its People Services team. You will guide new hires through onboarding, assist with LMS administration, and support HR processes in a manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication and confidentiality. Ideal candidates have an associate degree with at least one year in HR/administrative roles, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience in HR, administrative and/or program coordination role or other relevant fields.
• Knowledge of HR processes and best practices related to recruitment and onboarding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates and new hires throughout the hiring process.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and Workday preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Represent Roskam as one of the first points for candidates and new hires.
• Facilitate onboarding including communication and completion of onboarding requirements.
• Conduct pre-employment screenings including background checks and medical/drug screenings and collaborate with HR team on any related issues.
• Serve as point of contact for new hires addressing questions, concerns, and providing guidance throughout the onboarding process.
• Prepare/distribute onboarding schedules, welcome kits, & other relevant materials to new hires.
• Assist with Learning Management System (LMS) administration through tasks such as uploading and testing course content, assigning training to learners, tracking progress, and ensuring accurate training records are maintained.
• Support the People Services and Systems team in process improvements, special projects and events. Provide additional administrative support, as necessary.

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and Workday preferred.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish required.
