KODIAK Construction Talent Solutions is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume recruiting for electrical, mechanical, and service trades across multiple locations, including Richmond, VA. This in-house role emphasizes proactive sourcing, fast-paced hiring, and strong partnerships with hiring managers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience.
• Agency recruiting experience required.
• Experience recruiting for electrical, mechanical, service, construction, or skilled trades positions.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple openings and high-volume hiring needs

Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and engage skilled trades professionals, including electricians, mechanics, service technicians, and related positions
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and screening through offer and placement
• Support high-volume hiring needs across multiple projects and geographic locations
• Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and fill critical openings quickly
• Utilize ATS platforms, job boards, sourcing tools, referrals, and proactive outreach to identify talent
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process
• Stay current on local labor markets, hiring trends, and compensation for skilled trades

About The Role

KODIAK is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume recruiting for electrical, mechanical, and service trades across multiple locations.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced agency recruiter who understands the skilled trades, works with urgency, and is comfortable managing multiple openings, hiring managers, projects, and candidate pipelines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and engage skilled trades professionals, including electricians, mechanics, service technicians, and related positions
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and screening through offer and placement
• Support high-volume hiring needs across multiple projects and geographic locations
• Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience
• Agency recruiting experience required
• Proven experience recruiting for electrical, mechanical, service, construction, or skilled trades positions
• Demonstrated success managing multiple openings and high-volume hiring needs
• Strong sourcing, screening, candidate management, and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with ATS platforms, job boards, and candidate sourcing tools
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven recruiting environment
• Ability to support recruiting needs across multiple locations and markets

Preferred Experience

• Commercial or industrial construction recruiting experience
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, service, or related skilled trades
• Established network within the construction and skilled trades talent market

Compensation: $75,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience
