Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Tailor/Fitter who delivers outstanding service through skilled alterations and fit expertise. You will measure, fit, and alter garments, aiming to complete work on time while meeting productivity standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork within the Alterations & Store Team, educating customers on fit and fashion trends, and using store tech to organize alteration requests. A flexible schedule is required to meet store needs.

Formación

• Previous fitting, tailoring and sewing experience preferred.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and alterations equipment.
• Flexibility to embrace a varying schedule based on business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Measure customers for size and mark areas requiring alterations.
• Perform and complete customer fittings on time and sew alterations per guidelines.
• Meet department and individual productivity goals while following processes.
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize alteration needs.
• Deliver customer expectations through teamwork within the Alterations & Store Team.
• Educate customers and employees on proper fit, style, construction and trends.
