Job summary

Dealer Services Network in Grapeland, TX is seeking a Tag Agency Manager to supervise daily operations of a licensed tag agency.

The role requires managing staff, ensuring compliance with DMV processes, handling financial transactions, and maintaining secure, efficient office operations. A hands-on, working manager will cover multiple agency roles and drive customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Automotive tag and title experience preferred.
• Managerial experience preferred (2–3 years in a supervisory role).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong working knowledge of DMV or tag agency processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Office Organization: maintain a clean, professional workspace and ensure safety and compliance daily.
• Reporting Responsibilities: submit timely reports to County, State, and Company as required.
• Safety and Security: enforce safety policies and secure cash, documents, and inventory.
• Position Coverage: be prepared to cover any agency role during absences.
• Inventory Policy: manage license plates, decals, forms, and supplies with audits.
• Staff Management: coach, train, and schedule staff; ensure DMV procedures are known.
• Hiring Process: recruit and onboard new employees within 21–30 days; train within 14 days.
• Service-Level Agreements (SLAs): ensure dealer and commercial accounts are processed within set SLAs.
• Customer Service: deliver excellent service to walk-in customers, dealers, and commercial accounts.
