AFL manufactures fiber optic components and provides engineering and installation services for telecom customers. The Tactical Operations Lead ensures material flow between bottlenecks, assists with setup, and drives downtime resolution to improve KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Safety-oriented with knowledge of cable manufacturing processes.
• Able to understand and follow manufacturing safety standards.
• Comfortable using basic math to analyze problems and recommend actions.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Oracle or related systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule compliance and material flow to meet production plans.
• Support downtime resolution and setup/startup activities.
• Assist with production planning meetings to meet sales order delivery.
• Maintain 6S standards and safe operations on the floor.
• Coordinate with supervisors, process technicians, and engineers as needed.
