Job summary

Serco seeks a Tactical Command and Control (C2) Operations SME for Air Combat Command’s Combat Air Forces Distributed Training Center (CAF DTC) at Langley AFB, VA. You will facilitate distributed mission operations training with ABM, AOC, ADAFCO, ISR assets, and combat aircraft.

The role requires a Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR, plus extensive command and control experience. You may travel up to 10% and will work with ASCOT, CES, NGTS, and MACE to develop and execute

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Former Air Battle Manager (ABM), Air Intercept Controller (AIC) or Weapons Director (WD) with relevant platforms.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years’ experience in command and control, or Master’s with 7 years, or PhD with 4 years.
• Thorough knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 or service equivalent manual and ALSSA Brevity/ALSSA Air Control Communication.
• Operationally relevant experience within the past 10 years (simulator experience counted).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support daily training by scheduling, mission planning, creating mission materials, briefing, executing, and debriefing LFEs and Small Team events.
• Attend CAF exercise planning conferences and incorporate unit training requirements into missions.
• Provide consulting to develop and evaluate military training and doctrine across phases of training and data analysis.
