Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Tactical Command and Control (C2) Operations SME for the CAF DTC at Langley AFB, VA, supporting combat air units with distributed training and mission planning in simulated environments.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance with TS/SCI/SAP/SAR eligibility, a strong ABM/AIC/WD background, and graduate-level education aligned to command and control. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years’ experience in command and control, or Master’s with 7 years’, or PhD with 4 years’ experience.
• Thorough knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 or service equivalent manual; ALSSA Brevity; ALSSA Air Control Communication.
• Operationally relevant experience within past 10 years (simulator experience allowed).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support daily training by scheduling, mission planning, creating mission materials, briefing, executing, and debriefing LFEs and small team events.
• Attend CAF exercise planning conferences (e.g., RED FLAG) and meetings to translate unit requirements into missions.
• Provide consulting expertise to military/defense clients to develop and evaluate training and doctrine; contribute to scenario development and data analysis.
