Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-4 years of purchasing or buyer experience, preferably in financial services or related industry.
• Strong understanding of procurement process, supplier management, and best practices in purchasing.
• Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier performance, market trends, and procurement opportunities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in managing procurement documentation and records.
• Proficiency in procurement software; experience with platforms like Coupa is preferred.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical procurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day purchasing activities, including the creation and management of purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and forecast demand for goods and services.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve best possible cost savings and value.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing transactions, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Support the implementation of procurement strategies developed by the Strategic Sourcing team.
• Resolve issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance promptly.
