Job summary

Blythe Construction is seeking a Tack Truck Driver to safely operate an asphalt distributor on various construction projects. The role requires driving a Class B CDL with a Tanker Endorsement, performing pre/post trip inspections, and maintaining the vehicle in good condition.

The position calls for strong safety awareness, the ability to work day or night shifts, and coordination with the asphalt crew. Prior experience and a GED/high school diploma are preferred, with emphasis on roads,

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
  • Experience driving and operating a tack truck on construction sites.
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to work around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tack truck safely and efficiently on construction sites.
  • Load tack truck oil and monitor oil/mix temperatures.
  • Perform daily safety checks and pre/post trip inspections.
  • Clean and maintain tack truck; report repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with asphalt crew and other crafts as required.
