Qualifications

Job description

The Tack Truck Driver operates a tack truck to distribute asphalt and other materials for road construction and resurfacing projects. This role ensures proper application of tack coat, maintains the equipment, and supports project deadlines and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate tack truck in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Apply tack coat at required rates for paving and road maintenance operations.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the tack truck.
  • Monitor material levels and coordinate refills as needed.
  • Assist the paving crew with material placement and site preparation.
  • Complete required logs and documentation accurately.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Comply with all safety, environmental, and company policies.
Required Qualifications

Work is performed outdoors at construction sites. Candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, with exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery.
