Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a senior leader to drive data visualization governance and analytics reporting across the enterprise. You will architect high‑performance Viz solutions, mentor junior staff, and partner with Data & Analytics leadership on Tableau usage to influence strategic decisions.

The role requires 8+ years in the field, a degree (or equivalent experience), and a track record of delivering scalable data visualization projects within a large organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, maintenance and communication of data visualization governance and development standards to improve solution quality and efficiency.
• Act as technical resource for the team; assist on system issues, processes, and procedures.
• Perform discovery and fact-finding to fully understand and execute assignments.
• Mentor junior team members and guide development best practices.
• Design and architect high-performance data visualization solutions for maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics leadership to guide Tableau usage and visualization strategy.
• Provide status updates, raise risks, and communicate to cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
