Job summary
Blue Cross NC is seeking a senior data visualization leader to drive enterprise analytics, governance, and best practices across the organization. You will architect high-performance visualization solutions and mentor junior staff while collaborating with Data & Analytics leadership to shape strategic Tableau usage.
The role emphasizes maintaining standards, guiding complex problem solving, and ensuring scalable, maintainable BI delivery for enterprise needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
- 8+ years of experience in related field.
- In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, maintenance and communication of data visualization governance and development standards.
- Act as a chief architect for data visualization solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and transfer knowledge on development best practices.
- Analyze complex business problems and prepare detailed specifications for objects.
- Provide technical resources and guidance on system issues and processes.
- Collaborate with Data & Analytics leadership on Tableau usage and strategic decisions.
- Design scalable, high-performance data visualization solutions.
