Job summary

Catawba-Two-Kings-Casino is seeking a seasoned Table Games Assistant Shift Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and respond to guest concerns. You will ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls while leading the table games team.

The role requires strong leadership and the ability to maintain game integrity on a busy shift. Responsibilities include scheduling, asset protection, and collaboration with Surveillance to uphold profitability and standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum 5 years of upper-level casino management (Pit Manager or above).
• Table Games start ups and/or dealer school training preferred.
• Certification in Craps, Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Carnival Games or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Shift Manager when needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, internal controls, and procedures.
• Manage all table games operations on the assigned shift and relay information across shifts.
• Audit gaming chips, equipment, cards, and reporting; maintain game integrity.
• Assist with shift scheduling and staff rotations; locate substitutes as needed.
• Investigate variances to protect assets and profitability.
• Foster a team environment and lead staff by example.
• Collaborate with Surveillance and Compliance for asset protection.
• Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Explain house rules and maintain game pace and limits.
