Table Games Pit Manager
Salary: $90,000. Status: Full Time. Shift: Varies.
Responsibilities
- Overall management and smooth operation of multiple table games within one or more gaming areas.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing all functions to ensure Table Games operations are executed in a cost‑effective and profitable manner.
- Constantly review staffing needs and recommend increase/decrease in staffing levels.
- Ensure departmental policies and procedures are adhered to as directed by Table Games Management.
- Responsible for day‑to‑day activity occurring within assigned pits.
- Communicate relevant information on gaming activity, team member performance, guest win/loss, and other proceedings.
- Assist in resolving team member issues and motivate team members to provide quality service.
- Assist supervisors to ensure that table games operations are managed according to company standards.
- Maintain an active presence on the casino floor at all times, exhibiting professional behavior and acting as a role model for team members.
- Coach for success, address any behaviors that deviate from policies and procedures.
- Be approachable for guests and team members and repeat information at pre‑shift huddles.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of table games experience and six months of supervisory experience is required.
- Good working knowledge of all table games, including methods of cheating, card counting techniques, and basic playing strategies.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and move easily around the pit area and entire property for the entire shift; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Colorado Gaming License.
- Proficiency in standard office equipment and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties and projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Mathematical skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and using fractions/whole numbers and percentages.
- Effective problem‑solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgment within established policies.
- Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
- Professional interaction with guests and team members.
- Ability to work irregular hours, extended shifts, late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and other departments.
