This position is responsible for the effective operation of the blackjack area by properly assigning dealers and supervisors and ensuring asset protection and game integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises the operations of one to four blackjack playing areas through constant communication with on-duty team members.
• Prepares work schedules and assigns tables.
• Responsible for the smooth operation of the blackjack pit and for promoting positive patron relations.
• Ensures proper standards and procedures are followed by all personnel in accordance with enterprise procedures.
• Orders and approves and completes necessary paperwork for fills and credits.
• Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises multiple blackjack employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
