Job summary

Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures is seeking a Table Games Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Table Games Department at the Grand Casino. The role includes supervising Supervisors/Dealers, maintaining compliance with gaming laws, budgeting, scheduling, training, and developing promotions in collaboration with Marketing and Revenue teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in Blackjack with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, dealer training, and the ability to manage diverse

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum five years Blackjack Table Games experience with at least three years in supervisory or management role.
• Must have attended certified Dealer Training and passed a dealer audition.
• Knowledge of all programs utilized in the pit including Player tracking systems.
• Working knowledge of all games dealt in the department.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel).
• Must obtain license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Preference given to Mille Lacs Band Members and American Indian heritage in hiring.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive image of the Grand Casino and the Table Games department.
• Provide exceptional Guest service to both internal and external Guests.
• Directly supervise and assign tasks to Supervisors and/or Dealers.
• Review and approve casino complimentary items to Guest.
• Adjust games spread for optimal labor efficiency and Guest service.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and department policies.
• Maintain thorough records and reports with accuracy and discretion.
• Assist with hiring, transfers, promotions, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Inform Gaming leadership about important player facts and major game fluctuations.
• Manage Table Games staffing, budgeting, scheduling, training, counseling, and development.
• Generate operating reports as directed by Gaming executives.
• Develop table game promotions and coordinate across property and departments.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Gaming Director.
