Entry-level position with emphasis on card handling, math skills, and teamwork; must be 21+, pass licensing, and enjoy a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Summary/ObjectiveThe Table Games Dealer is responsible for dealing a variety of table games in a professional, accurate, and courteous manner while maintaining game integrity and delivering exceptional guest service. This position requires an enthusiastic and personable demeanor, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous development. Dealers must demonstrate proficiency in assigned games and be willing to train in additional games, including, but not necessarily limited to, blackjack, poker, roulette, and craps. Employees are expected to respond positively to coaching, apply feedback, and continually improve their technical skills and guest interactions.Success in this role is achieved by creating an entertaining and welcoming gaming experience, dealing games accurately and efficiently, maintaining fairness and procedural compliance, protecting the interests of both the property and its guests, and demonstrating a consistent willingness to learn and develop proficiency in additional table games.Key AccountabilitiesDeal a variety of table games efficiently, accurately, and professionally according to internal policies and gaming regulations.Provide a fun and welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, explaining rules when appropriate, and maintaining a personable and approachable demeanor.Refer disputes or guest concerns to the Floor Supervisor or Pit Manager as needed while remaining focused on guest satisfaction.Demonstrate knowledge of procedures for multiple table games, including poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps.Actively participate in training sessions and be open to learning new game variations and responsibilities over time.Maintain compliance with Title 31/AML reporting requirements and follow all applicable tribal and state gaming regulations.Uphold high standards of customer service, fairness, and professionalism in all interactions.Stay calm and composed under pressure, especially when resolving game errors or clarifying rules with players.Accept feedback and corrections from supervisors with a constructive attitude, using each opportunity as a chance to improve.Support table operations and assist with maintaining the security and accuracy of chips, cards, and game equipment.Monitor game integrity and report any irregularities or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.Ensure that the gaming area remains clean, organized, and safe for guests and staff.QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Ute Mountain Ute Gaming Commission Support License (background checks may be required).High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.This position is entry level; however, applicants able to demonstrate some card-handling, customer interaction, and mathematical skill will be given preference.Must be able to pass an audition demonstrating blackjack dealing skills (experience with other table games is a plus).Good communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.Comfortable handling money and performing basic math functions quickly and accurately.Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, even during busy or challenging situations.Open to constructive feedback and willing to learn new games and skills on an ongoing basis.
