Job summary

Peppermill Reno is seeking a Table Games Dealer to operate casino tables in line with company procedures and state gaming regulations, while keeping guests entertained. You will deal table games, protect cards, ensure bets are placed correctly, and handle payouts and chip drops with speed and accuracy.

Ideal candidates are 21+, maintain a valid Gaming Control Board license, and show strong math, dexterity, and communication skills, with at least six months of experience in gaming.

The Table Games Dealer deals various casino table games in accordance with company procedures and state gaming regulations while maintaining a pleasant and entertaining atmosphere for the guests.

Duties:

Deal table games according to applicable company and departmental policies, procedures and rules.

Check and protect all cards when placed in the game.

Deal all table games with speed and accuracy.

Always protect the table bankroll.

Determine that bets are properly placed and within table limits.

Make proper payoffs to winning bets and collect losing bets.

Deposit all currency and foreign chips into the table drop box.

Verify all fills/credits to the table.

Report unusual situations to Casino Executive.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older.

Must be able to maintain a valid license with the Gaming Control Board.

Minimum of 6 months’ experience required.

Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination and be able to cut chips with both hands.

Must be proficient in general math skills.

Excellent inter-personnel communication skills.
