Job summary

Encore Boston Harbor seeks a Dealer for Table Games to accurately deal all assigned games in the pit, execute fills/credits, and deliver exceptional guest service in compliance with gaming regulations.

You will manage game dealing, player tracking, bankroll maintenance, and guest interactions while maintaining high standards and safety. Experience in dealing Blackjack and another game is preferred; Massachusetts licensing will be pursued.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Casino or dealing experience preferred.
• Must be able to deal Blackjack and one additional game.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
• Participate in the execution of short- and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness; effects changes required for improvement.
• Actively contributes to departmental performance, and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures; records and reports.
• Verifies that all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and property-wide controls are enforced within the department.
• Delivers and maintains a maximum level of service.
• Contributes to company-wide communication and best practices.
• Keeps informed of all new developments within the department.
• Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.
• Simultaneously executes and maintains game dealing, player tracking, bankroll maintenance, and guest service.
• Monitors guest activity while at tables and maintains open communication with supervisors regarding table games activities.
• Ensures compliance with all gaming regulations and house policies and procedures.
• Notifies supervisor of any irregularities in the play and/or transactions during the shift.
• Adheres to appropriate gaming regulations, policies and procedures.
• Provides excellent customer service and communication.
• Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.
• Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.
• Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.
