Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a casino dealer to build guest relations, deal Blackjack and other games, monitor table monies, and ensure compliance with rules and policies. You will handle game equipment and assist guests while maintaining a professional demeanor throughout shifts that may include late nights, weekends, and holidays.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to obtain a Louisiana Gaming

Qualifications

• Must have excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Gaming industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Louisiana Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Must be proficient in dealing Blackjack and all novelty games offered.
• Deal the game and monitor the monies of the table at all times.
• Control gaming cards and equipment.
• Use table, shoe, and paddle correctly.
• Monitor guest play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play.
• Pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of a specific game.
• Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
• Complete all government reporting.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
