Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a TAAG Manager to advise on complex finance and accounting issues across industries. You’ll lead technical accounting projects, interact with FAAS and audit teams, and deliver insightful, tailored solutions for clients.

You’ll apply deep knowledge of US GAAP, mentor teams, and manage multiple engagements with cross-functional colleagues, while navigating a flexible, hybrid work model and national travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, CPA certification and at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and time management skills.
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
• Exposure to or interest in complex technical accounting topics is a plus.
• An understanding of marketplace, as well as commonly used terminology, processes and tools.
• Proven record of excellence in managing and mentoring high-performing colleagues.
• Ability to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations and new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines to identify opportunities for clients.
• Occasional travel may be necessary to meet with key clients.
