Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager in the Technical Accounting Advisory Group (TAAG) within FAAS to lead complex accounting projects across industries. You’ll work with clients on consolidation, joint ventures, IPOs and more, guiding teams and delivering deep technical insights.

The role requires strong US GAAP expertise, CPA, and 8+ years of experience, with travel and leadership of high-performing teams. EY offers a hybrid model and a broad rewards program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, CPA certification and at least 8 years’ work experience.
• Including at least 2 years of experience in 3+ industries / sectors (e.g., life sciences, technology, advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defense, energy).
• Experience with lessee accounting under ASC 842, including complex issues.
• Experience in 3–5 years in public accounting with technical/highly complex analysis.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Strong project management of complex technical accounting including time budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across service lines to identify opportunities for clients.
• Interact with FAAS and audit teams and clients across the US firm.
• Travel as needed to meet with key clients.
• Help companies manage complex financial and accounting issues (consolidation, joint ventures, IPOs, etc.).
