Job summary

The role requires a CPA, a bachelor’s degree and at least five years in public accounting, with strong writing, presentation and project-management skills and willingness to travel to client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• At least 5 years of work experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and time management skills.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP.
• Exposure to or interest in complex technical accounting topics is a plus.
• Ability to lead, mentor and improve a team of high-performing colleagues.
• Confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Accounting Advisory Group (TAAG) engagements across consolidation and joint ventures, IPOs, business combinations and related topics.
• Collaborate with FAAS and audit teams to deliver tailored, practical accounting solutions for diverse clients.
• Build relationships across service lines and identify opportunities for clients to leverage EY's knowledge.
• Travel to meet key clients as required.
