Doxim's Next Talent Acquisition Specialist (Remote – ON, BC, or AB)

In this role, you will play a key role in building a workforce of strong talent, primarily supporting our print production operations across North America. You will manage our temporary hiring program, develop relationships with 3 rd party vendors, partner closely with HR Business Partners to support direct hiring needs, and coordinate a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for all new hires.

This role can be performed remotely from Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta. Hours will generally be aligned with the Eastern time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the full cycle talent acquisition process across all functional groups, with a focus on Production Operations, from filtering resumes, conducting pre-screenings, coordinating assessments, scheduling and participating in interviews for assigned roles, through to offer acceptance and onboarding
  • Build and grow a pipeline of promising candidates and identify new sourcing channels
  • Build deep subject matter expertise in your set of requisitions to better forecast and influence hiring plans and decisions
  • Maintain professional relationships with business leaders, 3 rd party vendors, academic institutions, and other recruitment sources for existing and future mandates
  • Coordinate, schedule, and participate in events to source qualified candidates including school career fairs or other recruitment events as needed
  • Coordinate the completion of all new hire paperwork for personnel files
  • Actively coordinate and participate in the onboarding process for new hires and suggest improvements to the process as identified
  • Coordinate the onboarding and change request process for consultants including onboarding in the HCM, coordinating consulting agreements, completion of background checks, and completion of mandatory training
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a full cycle recruiting role
  • Experience in a high-turnover environment such as manufacturing
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma (equivalent work experience may be considered)
  • Exceptional time management skills with excellent ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to travel across North America (travel requirement of approximately 10%)

System Knowledge

Strong knowledge and experience with:

  • Full Microsoft Office suite
  • Applicant tracking system; Greenhouse preferred
  • HCM system; ADP, UKG or similar
  • Sourcing tools
