Job summary

Doxim in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily print production operations onsite. You will manage staffing, schedules, quality, and throughput while ensuring customer deadlines are met.

You'll coach team members, enforce SOPs, and partner with maintenance and vendors to keep equipment running smoothly. This role offers growth within a collaborative, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in print technology, operations, or related field preferred.
  • 2–3 years in print production, mail operations, or related field; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day production operations and ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time output.
  • Assign work, schedule resources, monitor workflow, and meet SLAs.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and resolve equipment/process issues.
  • Hire input into onboarding and support performance management.
  • Monitor SOPs, policies, and work instructions; communicate updates to team.
  • Identify process improvements to reduce waste and boost throughput.
  • Maintain inventory of materials for print production.
  • Ensure output accuracy for print, mail, and digital communications.
  • Track KPIs like productivity and quality; escalate concerns.

Doxim’s next Production Supervisor - Onsite Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations within a production area or shift, ensuring quality,accuracy, and on‑time completion of output
  • Assign work, schedule resources, and monitor workflow to meet production commitments and service‑level agreements
  • Provide hands‑on support to team members, stepping in to resolve issues related to equipment, processes, and job prioritization
  • Coach and guide production staff, supporting skill development and reinforcingsafe work practices
  • Interview and provide input into hiring decisions; participate in onboarding andtraining of new team members
  • Provide performance feedback and input into the company’s performance management process
  • Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), company policies, and work instructions
  • Communicate operational updates, schedule changes, and priorities to the team clearly and consistently
  • Partner with the Manager to identify process improvements, reduce waste, and optimize throughput
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and materials critical to print production and delivery
  • Ensure equipment is used properly, report issues promptly, and coordinate with maintenance teams as needed
  • Support customer communications objectives by ensuring accuracy and consistency of output (print, mail, digital communications, data-drivenstatements, etc.)
  • Track basic KPIs (e.g., productivity, quality, error rates, rework) and elevate concerns to Manager promptly

Proficient knowledge and experience with:
  • MS Office
  • Production systems and workflow tools used in print and/or customer communications environments
  • Basic HRIS functions (time entry, scheduling)
Recommended Years of Experience
  • 2–3 years in print production, mail operations, customer communications, or related domain
  • Prior informal leadership, shift lead, or team lead experience strongly preferred.
Travel

Physical Demands.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs. as required for production tasks
  • Regular movement within the production facility and occasional equipment interaction
