Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Database Developer to design and implement robust SQL Server databases in support of engineering and construction projects.

You will optimize queries, ensure security and performance, and collaborate with product owners, analysts, and developers while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SQL Server development experience.
• Strong T-SQL knowledge, incl. SPs, functions, and triggers.
• Experience with database design, data modeling, and normalization.
• Familiarity with SQL Server tools: SSMS, Profiler, DTA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database structures per project requirements.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
• Provide data extraction and load support for engineering data.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers.
• Prepare documentation and specifications for design, coding and testing.
• Analyze queries for performance improvements and optimize DBs.
• Identify problems and provide timely solutions.
• Stay updated on trends in database development.
