Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an experienced IT Software Developer Analyst-Level 2 for our Houston, TX on-site team. You will design, develop, and integrate full-stack applications, build Power BI dashboards, and structure SQL databases while supporting cloud-based services.

You will lead projects like Utilities API and Contracts Manager, mentor junior developers, and ensure security and best practices within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in application development, cloud computing, and enterprise software architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL), Python, and JavaScript; experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux; cloud platforms AWS or GCP; building web apps and REST APIs; Git; Linux/Windows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and integration efforts for new or existing applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, SQL databases, or full-stack applications.
• Manage and support projects like Utilities API, Therm Runner API, and Contracts Manager.
• Provide production support for M&A legacy tech stacks and data projects.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with business systems analysts and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Work with Agile methodology, participating in software lifecycle and scrum ceremonies.
