Job summary

Advastar, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator for its Dayton-area transmission and distribution office. You will oversee T&D projects from bid to client acceptance and learn to build estimates with guidance, gaining real project ownership and visibility with leadership.

The role requires on-site work with flexible 8-hour days, travel as needed, and a strong path to leadership as the Ohio business grows. Dayton-area candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (equivalent training considered).
• Project management certification preferred (PMP or equivalent).
• 4+ years in construction management, ideally T&D/utility/electrical contracting.

Responsibilities

• Manage T&D projects from bid preparation through final client acceptance.
• Build project estimates from specs, drawings, and takeoffs with training provided.
• Keep projects on schedule and budget; implement recovery plans when needed.
