Advastar, Inc. is hiring an Operations Manager to build and lead its Ohio transmission and distribution business from the Dayton-area office. You will oversee project managers and estimators and own the division's financial results.

The on-site role requires a B.S. in construction management or engineering and 7+ years in electrical contracting, with strong Ohio utility relationships. Compensation includes $145k–$160k base, a 45% annual bonus, a company vehicle (year 1) with a $1,200 monthly

Responsabilidades

• Own the financial results of the Ohio T&D division and keep monthly job cost reporting accurate and on plan.
• Win profitable utility work by identifying clients, deciding which scopes to pursue, and keeping a steady bid pipeline.
• Lead, coach, and grow project managers and estimators, and approve every estimate and contract before it goes out.
• Keep multiple jobs safe, on schedule, and on budget, with projects ranging from roughly $200K to $12M.
• Build relationships with regional utilities and represent the company in the local market.
• Set operating procedures for the division within company policy and plan staffing as work grows.
• Work on-site at the office each day (flexible 8-hour schedule, no hybrid) with regular job-site travel and occasional overnights.
• Dayton-area office; Columbus-area candidates may be considered.

• Experience approving estimates, bids, and contracts, and managing work-in-progress and cost-to-complete reporting
• Business development experience that secured profitable work on a routine basis
