Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field.
• Five years of experience in healthcare/hospital administration or related area, plus three years in leadership.
• Experience leading development and execution of volunteer programs in healthcare settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a systemwide strategic plan with annual goals, performance metrics, and work plans for volunteer services.
• Collaborates with the Association of Volunteers Board of Directors to deploy initiatives that enhance volunteer programs.
• Leads communications on volunteer strategy, initiatives, and updates with divisions, senior leadership, and CHCO Foundation.
• Oversees customer service standards for volunteer programs and handles escalations.
• Assigns and reviews goals for volunteer leaders, provides coaching and staffing decisions including hiring and discipline.
• Develops and monitors the volunteer services budget and aligns with system priorities.
• Reviews and approves changes to internal processes to improve volunteer services across the System of Care.
• Manages complex projects related to volunteer programs with best practices.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations for volunteer services.
• Maintains leadership presence by attending meetings across system locations to support alignment.
