Job summary

Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking a data‑driven Business Systems Analyst to support multiple applications and business areas. You will analyze low to moderate complexity changes, define business requirements, and execute test cases to validate solutions, ensuring a positive member experience aligned with Wellmark’s strategies.

The ideal candidate is self‑directed, detail‑oriented, and comfortable navigating several systems.

Qualifications

2+ years of business analysis, systems, configurations, or related experience; OR 3+ years’ health insurance operations experience.
Proficient written and verbal communication with ability to facilitate conversations with stakeholders.
Proven efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.

Responsibilities

Analyze, define, and validate business requirements for system modifications, enhancements, or upgrades.
Analyze and troubleshoot low to moderate complexity system/application issues; create incident tickets and coordinate resolution.
Lead and coordinate testing efforts, design test scenarios, write and execute test cases, and document findings.
Maintain regulatory compliance and align solutions with corporate policies and customer expectations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to confirm desk-level procedures and process documents are created/updated.
