Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies is seeking a Manager, Systems Test Engineering in Minnesota to lead system verification, validation, and reliability for cardiovascular and ultrasound devices. You will drive test strategies, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Software, Hardware, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Manufacturing teams to ensure robust, compliant product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related technology field.
• 3–5 years of product and technology development experience.
• 1–2 years of experience leading technical teams.
• 5+ years in the medical device industry or highly regulated industry.
• Experience developing and retaining technical talent.
• Ability to lead people and achieve results through others.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Systems Test Engineering across new product development, sustaining engineering, and product improvement initiatives.
• Develop system test and design verification strategies for complex medical devices (hardware, software, firmware, electromechanical).
• Guide requirements-based testing, design verification, validation, test methods, fixtures, tools, and automation.
• Ensure verification demonstrates products meet requirements and regulatory/quality standards.
• Lead risk-based test strategies linking requirements, architecture, use cases, risk management, verification, and reliability.
• Oversee test protocol design, equipment qualification, data analysis, traceability, and verification reports.
• Promote automation and modern test practices to improve coverage, repeatability, efficiency, and data quality.
• Support reliability planning, accelerated life testing, environmental testing, and reliability growth.
