Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Morrisville, NC, seeks a Systems Test Engineer at Level 2 or 3 to design and execute comprehensive system test plans for ground-based software deployments. You will work onsite to synthesize customer needs, coordinate testing, and deliver rigorous evaluations of complex systems while collaborating across software teams.

The role requires SCI clearance, a relevant degree, and hands-on experience with scripting, Git, Kubernetes, Helm, and Java.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at application
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years (Level 2) or 5+ years (Level 3) in relevant field
• Experience with ground system software deployment, integration and testing in complex cloud-based environments
• Understanding of requirements decomposition and verification
• Ability to collaborate with software teams for reproduction steps and resolution
• Troubleshoot and investigate root causes, generate detailed problem reports
• Proficiency with Python, Bash scripting, and Java

Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer needs into system test solutions within schedule/cost constraints
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans and schedules
• Coordinate integrated testing activities and evaluate test requirements
• Perform technical analysis and prepare system-level evaluations
• Onsite work requirement; no remote or hybrid option
